View a customer's orders
By Julien·Updated August 31, 2026
A customer's account includes every rental they currently have out and their past orders.
When someone asks about a loan, start from Customers rather than searching the full Orders list. Their Orders page uses the same table as the rest of the workspace, already filtered to that person.
Each tab focuses on a different view:
- Active: what they currently have out.
- View all: every order, including ones they have already returned.
For example, if a customer asks whether they still have a saw, open their account, go to Orders, and check Active.
Open the customer
1. Open Customers
Open Customers from the workspace sidebar.
This is the list of people who rent from you.
2. Find the customer
Search by name or email, then select the customer from the results.
The list shows their subscription and any late fees, so you can confirm you have the right person before opening the account.
3. Open their account
Click their row to open their account.
The account page is the starting point for their rentals, membership, and contact details.
Review their rentals
A customer's Orders page uses the same table as the rest of the workspace, already limited to that person.
1. Open Orders
On their account, open Orders in the sidebar.
This is their rental history, not the full workspace Orders list.
2. Review active orders
Active shows what they currently have out.
Use this tab when a customer asks about an item they still have, or whether a pickup is waiting.
3. Review all orders
Open View all to see every order, including ones they have already returned.
This is the starting point when you are looking for a past rental on their account.
Find a past order
Use View all when you need history, then narrow the list with filters.
1. Filter the list
Open Filters, set Status to Fulfilled, and apply.
You'll see only rentals that have already been returned.
2. Open an order
Click a row to open the order.
The order page shows the customer, items, and current status.
3. Review the order details
You'll land on the order page.
Check the items, status, and customer to confirm you're looking at the right rental.
